October // Stand Ye In Holy Places, And Be Not Moved

October 3

Went on a walk through of the Phoenix Temple. Thanks Carson!
I. Am. In. Love. With. This. Place.
It is beyond beautiful. I could seriously spend all day here. I can't wait for my volunteer shifts to start in a couple days!!!

October 8

Suns game!!! We played the Brazil Flamingos...I didn't know that was an actual team, but at least we won! And I now finally have a sweet Suns t-shirt! Thanks Luke!!

We don't know how to take normal pictures....

October 18

Mom and I woke up at 5:45 so we could go on a hike and watch the sunrise. You could say it was worth it.

Night Cleaning Shift at the Temple...Major Booty #HIMYM #TempleCleaning

October 19

So I gave a talk in Church today...haven't done that for a couple years!!

And luckily I had put my phone on silence, because by the time I sat down after my talk, I had 5 text messages and 3 snapchats...all from people who were there "listening" to my talk! ;)

Exhibit A

October 20

Went on another tour of the Temple tonight with my family! And that was after my Mom and I did a volunteer usher shift at 6:45 this morning.
Seriously, I LOVE this place!

You would never know that 5 seconds before these pictures were taken, Ethan told everyone to "shove it" because he was "tired of this d*** Temple". He's my fave.

October 24

Michael and Kylie came over and went on the Temple tour with us today! So much fun! Love them!

We also ended up going on the same tour as the Becks. I love these cute kids!

Randommmmm

Watched the cute Beck kids again while their parents did a shift at the Temple! Seriously love them.

I let Addie play with my phone before she went to school....she added like 5 new people on my snapchat and sent them all messages saying 'Hi'! She's the cutest.

The couch was uncomfortable, so we sat like this...and Ali actually loves us.

Temple Shift!

And because I like to keep things interesting....

Totally hurt my foot...and guess what?! Its almost completely healed now. Blessings from serving in the Temple.

Finally got to see Baby Bo!! He's getting sooo big!

Yes, I actually still have a job. I'm not always at the Temple. Though I wish I was.

801 to the 623

Guess who's coming back to the 623?!
Cats outta the bag.
I'm coming home.

One of the first things I am doing when I get back? Hiking. I CANNOT wait to go hiking. I honestly miss the sun and the heat! I didn't even think that was possible. But I am beyond excited for summer.

And I can not wait to see this cute little fam of mine. They're honestly my favorite.

I've learned so much from the many months I have been here in Utah. I've learned a lot about (real) friends, relationships, family, and most importantly, myself. I've learned so many new things, that if I were to write it all down on here, this would become the worlds longest blog post, and I won't make you go through that ;)

Some of my favorite things from this past semester....

Going to the the Utah State Capitol with my very first (and favorite) roommate

3 a.m. shenanigans with some of my favorites (love this picture)

Sundays with my BFFL

Killin' it at work (hands down one of my favorite moments!)

But to be honest, I'm not totally sad I'm leaving. I'm excited. Sure, there's some friends I might miss, but that's what the FB is for. However, the hardest part about leaving would definitely be quitting my job. I know, I sound like a psychopath when I say that, but I love my job. I put my '2-weeks' in on Saturday, and that was by far one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have been so blessed to work for such an amazing company, and with so many great people. I am definitely going to miss it.

But, in less then 2 weeks, I'll be back home. I know it's where I'm supposed to be, and that's all that matters.

Oh, and he might kill me, but Happy Birthday to my BFFL. Who knew shopping at Wal-Mart could be so much fun?! And yes, that's a box of tampons that he's holding....I made him do it. :)

Morgo
