Harmons

Before my family left to head back to Arizona last week, my dad thought it would be a good idea to show me the city. We went over how the Trax works [ I still don't get it ] , where the Target and Walmart are located [ I don't remember where they are, & if I did, you couldn't pay me to go down there ] , where the bank is, and where Harmons is.

Harmons: Noun.

Definition: The grocery store for the City Creek folk in Salt Lake City.
    Synonym: Expensive.

Expensive? Pssh, like I care. It's only about a 12 minute walk, and its definitely not scary like the Target and Walmart. And I don't have to take the Trax to get down there. I mean, I could, but when I'm shopping by myself? I don't think so. So Harmons it is.

hairspray, almond milk, grapes, reeses peanut butter cups ( pumpkin shaped of course) [ fyi, the only unhealthy thing I own, besides my 12 pack of cherry dr pepper :) ] , ranch, salad mix, luna bars, string cheese, and of course Star magazine [ only because 'its official!' :) ]

Boy am I going to make a great wife one day :)

Now, as exciting and [ mostly ] healthy this all is, I hadn't considered walking the 12 minutes home while carrying grocery bags. Luckily, the nice little old lady that packed all my goodies put them all into one big brown paper bag. It was great. Everything fit nicely, I said thank you, and then I was off. About 3 minutes into my walk however, I heard this little tearing sound.
"Oh, this is so not happening right now."

Oh, it was happening alright. One of the handles of my brown paper bag was tearing. Let me tell ya, I sure as heck wasn't going to let a ripped paper bag ruin my day, so I walked the next 3 blocks or so carrying my brown paper bag in both arms, while carrying my oversized purse, and having my hair being blown in every direction it possibly could have gone.

Did I look like a train wreck? Yeah, I probably did. Did I care? I certainly did not. Why? Because, I have yet to read it yet, but, according to the cover of Star magazine, Kate Middleton is pregnant

and because I saved a whole $1.94 on my groceries. [ which equals out to be almost a full load of laundry :) ]
and because I had a great day at school today! :)

Happy Thursday! :)
